"Magoo" Megugorac has been in the automotive industry
his entire life, working as a technician and service manager
in dealerships, owning a specialty street rod shop, and
performing research and development for aftermarket parts
manufacturers. In 1988, he discovered the mechanical damage
appraisal industry. He and his wife, Buffie, saw the potential
and immediately launched Magoo's Mobile Inspections, performing
mechanical breakdown inspections on behalf of extended
warranty, insurance, and legal industry clients out of
their home office.
From those humble beginnings, Magoo's has continued to
grow, building its reputation on the highest quality service,
outstanding technical expertise, and an unsurpassed ability
to deliver expert opinions in a concise, "actionable"
report. Over the years, Magoo's has also developed "best
practices" systems, software, and procedures that attract
the finest staff and inspectors in the business. Employing
these skilled professionals and systems results in superior
inspection analysis and reporting. Our staff is continually
growing to meet the demands of our exacting customers.
In fact, our in-house technical staff has more than 150
years of automotive experience combined!
To date, Magoo's has conducted over 760,000 inspections
and built a network of more than 4,000 inspectors, covering
the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada,
and other international locations. Magoo's is an industry
leader, and we will continue to strive for new and better
ways to meet and exceed each of our clients' unique needs.
